Children
This information is current as of November 2023!
There are 40 total children at the Siuyu Children’s Rehabilitation Centre. Nine of our heroes are physically disabled, and attend ordinary classes at the local primary school. Of these students, three have just finished their standard seven exam, and are living at home awaiting results. Those that are intellectually impaired will go to the special, local government school with trained teachers, and the others frequent a Centre 45 kilometers away, under the jurisdiction of the Catholic Diocese of Singida, and the Daughters of Mary Sisters.

Each evening, two men and two women come to stay overnight with the students. These workers are voluntary, even if they do receive a small thank you compensation at the end of each month. All but one are committed members of the Union of the Catholic Apostolate, Pallottine Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, and Lay Members.
